The Riviera Ukulele Band were invited to provide some light entertainment for Galmpton Open Gardens – raising money for Rowcroft Hospice. The event, held on Sunday 16th June was great fun and rather unique for us, playing as “roving minstrels”.

The sun was out – the crowds were there and too many bands to mention … but we all had a great time raising money for charity, which included our adopted charity – Children’s Hospice South West !!
What a great night we had at Paignton Torbay … Lots of great songs with tremendous support from the club members !!
Our first full year of fundraising enabled us to present a cheque for £650 to Rachael at the much appreciated Rowcroft Hospice.
Our generous audiences at many gigs made this possible and together with Rowcroft Hospice we say a huge ‘Thank you’
Our second year at this wonderful Steam Fair giving us the opportunity to show off the sounds of the ‘ukulele ! A really hot afternoon again – but great fun !
On the 19th May we supported Rick Courtney, with many others to raise funds for C.R.Y. Follow the link for the event report:

Invited to play the Torbay Area Indoor Bowls Presentation Evening – a lovely audience who generously donated to our adopted charity Rowcroft Hospice.
An afternoon where the Legion Fundraisers are recognised for their work throughout the year for this amazing organisation. It was so good to renew acquaintances and to receive a donation for our charity.
